Frequently asked questions
What are the dice made of?
Clear epoxy resin, hand-poured and hand-polished, then inked so the numbers stay readable. These are sharp edge dice, and most sets carry a liquid core that shifts while the die rolls.
Why do handmade dice cost more than a plastic set?
Because a plastic set leaves an injection mould by the thousand, and a resin set leaves a silicone mould one pour at a time. Every die is then demoulded, sanded, polished and inked by hand. That work is the whole price difference, and it is also why no two sets come out quite the same.
Do the sets have all seven dice?
Yes. D20, D12, D10, percentile D10, D8, D6 and D4, the full set a 5e table needs. A soft velvet bag comes with every order.
Are they perfect?
No, and no hand-poured resin set is. A die can carry a faint bubble or a softer corner, because it was finished by hand rather than by a machine. They roll fair at a normal table, and those small differences are what makes a set yours rather than one of ten thousand.
When do the dice ship?
Dice come from stock, so there is no five to seven day print queue in front of them the way there is with our miniatures. If a set shows as available, it leaves with your order. If it shows as sold out, it is genuinely gone until the next pour. Delivery time then depends on where you are.
