Ice Spider 5e - Master of the web and architect of terror!

  • Durable resin construction
  • Carefully hand-detailed design
  • Perfect for DnD gameplay and miniature painting

The Spider is a formidable foe that dwells in the frigid caverns of high mountain regions. Its icy carapace and venomous bite make it a terrifying encounter for any adventurer who dares to venture into its domain. Bring this menacing creature to life on your tabletop and watch your players' hearts race as they face the icy terror of the Spider.

Prepare to face the icy terror of the Ice Spider Miniature.

Hidden in Ice and Silence: A Monster from the Frost-Cleft Peaks

Far beyond the last outpost, where maps fade and mountains hold their breath, something stirs beneath the frost. The Ice Spider 5e is no ordinary creature—it is part of the deep, frozen wilds. A predator built for silence and sudden violence. With its translucent carapace, it blends with ice-covered walls, waiting for the unlucky to pass too close.

This creature doesn’t announce itself. It waits. Lurks. And when it strikes, it leaves more than wounds. Paralysis. Cold. Panic. DMs who place the Ice Spider miniature onto the table know that this isn’t just a combatant—it’s a change of tone. A shift in mood. One moment, the party is climbing toward an ancient ruin, and the next, they’re tangled in frozen silk and failing Constitution saves.

Use the Ice Spider DnD in abandoned temples lost to blizzards, in frost giant vaults, or high alpine lairs untouched by the sun. Its presence alone forces players to question their steps—and their assumptions.

Size Isn’t Just a Number—It Tells a Story

In the hands of a good Dungeon Master, the scale of a miniature isn’t cosmetic. It sets the tone. A 28mm Ice Spider miniature might be a stealthy scout stalking the edges of camp. A 32mm model could be the lead in a small pack, cornering a party in an icy tunnel. And a 38mm spider? That one doesn’t chase. It waits in a nest of frozen bones and lets the players come to it.

Three size options let you pick your spider’s story:

  • 28mm: a skittering threat, perfect for swarms or ambushes
  • 32mm: the solo assassin in a web-covered ruin
  • 38mm: a lone apex predator, guarding ancient, frostbitten secrets

Need flexibility? The ability to select your size gives you more control over pacing and combat tone. One cold evening’s encounter with a small scout might lead to a deeper, deadlier nest next session. You’re not just placing figures—you’re setting a narrative rhythm.

Build It Your Way: From Table-Ready to Painter’s Challenge

Every DM works differently. Some love to build and prime, brush in every detail, and watch the creature come to life layer by layer. Others have a game night tomorrow and need a figure on the board—fast. That’s why each Ice Spider miniature offers flexible prep options.

Choose from:

  • Unassembled: ideal for custom painters or hobbyists who want full control
  • Assembled: for quick play or minimal handling
  • Primed in grey, black, or red drybrush: a head start on your winter terror

Whatever your choice, the result is a detailed, durable figure cast in crisp resin. It’s ready for sharp lines, weathering effects, or a simple wash-and-go. And because of the material’s resilience, even the spider’s slender limbs hold up across campaigns and transport. Painting isn’t required—but for those who enjoy it, the sculpt makes it easy to bring out the creature’s cold-blooded texture.

The Spider’s Role in the World—and in Your World

Not all monsters just attack and move on. Some raise questions. Why is the old path between towns blocked by strange ice webs? Why hasn’t the scouting party returned from the Frostvault Ridge? The Ice Spider DnD gives your world new layers.

It’s more than a stat block. It’s a puzzle piece. It could be a regional plague, a summoned guardian for ancient relics, or the natural result of magic leaking into the glacier beneath a ruined outpost. Use it in:

  • A mountaintop stronghold cursed by elemental forces
  • A forgotten mine haunted by frost spirits and their spider kin
  • A sacred grove now claimed by winter’s crawl

The Ice Spider 5e brings danger, yes—but also story hooks, lore potential, and encounters your players will talk about long after the session ends. No filler fights. Just cold-blooded purpose.

A Threat You Can See—And Feel at the Table

Visual storytelling is one of a DM’s strongest tools. Miniatures help anchor players in the moment. When the Ice Spider miniature hits the board, it doesn’t just signal a fight—it signals something’s changed. The tone shifts. The players go quiet. They start measuring their next moves more carefully.

That’s because the miniature tells part of the story before the dice even roll. Its spiked legs and frosted texture hint at where the fight is going. The paint—whether hand-detailed or primer-only—adds visual weight. Its presence reminds everyone that some creatures don’t just deal damage—they change the way the party thinks.

Even more: it survives the campaign. Built from tough resin, this miniature doesn’t chip easily or wear out. Whether it lives in a travel case or a display shelf between sessions, it’s made to last—and to return, perhaps stronger, in future arcs.

What You Get—and Why It Matters

When you bring the Ice Spider 5e into your miniature lineup, you’re not just adding a creature. You’re expanding what your world can do.

Every order comes with:

  • Durable resin construction for repeated tabletop use
  • Choice of size: 28mm, 32mm, or 38mm
  • Options for unassembled, assembled, or pre-primed versions
  • Crisp detail for both painters and pure roleplayers
  • Fast worldwide shipping—ideal for tight prep schedules

And it’s not just this spider. At RPG Guild, we offer over 4,500 miniatures crafted in-house, with free delivery over $60 and plenty of bonuses along the way. Trusted by more than 12,000 adventurers, our shop is built for people who treat tabletop gaming as something more than just a hobby.

The miniature is packaged with its components separate, not glued together. This option allows for customization before assembly.

Unassembled 1

We carefully glue the all of the components together for you, so you can enjoy the final effect!

Assembled 2

Comes Assembled!

We apply a primer coat in various colors. This is an ideal choice if you intend to paint the miniatures yourself, as the basic plastic doesn't retain paint well without this preparation. Comes in black, red, and grey.

Primed 3

Comes Assembled!

After gluing and applying a black primer to the miniature, we perform a light drybrush technique to enhance shadows and details. This gives the miniature a more defined appearance.

Absolutely! Whether your order was delayed in shipment, a miniature arrived damaged, or a piece is missing - feel encouraged to contact us. We offer hassle-free refunds within 30 days, no questions asked. In most cases, it simply means sending you the missing part or replacing anything you’re not fully satisfied with.

Can I request custom miniatures or other prints on demand?

Yes! We just need a STL file to work with, which you can buy from any online artist you like. For this case and any other, please message us first and we will take it from there.

How long does production & preparation usually take?

We take our craft very seriously! Each miniature also goes through a hand-detailing process. It usually takes between 5 to 7 business days with the default, drybrush or primer option.
