What is RPG Guild's custom print service?
You send us an STL file, we craft it into a miniature you can put on the table. Resin, 28mm or 32mm, supports removed, surfaces smoothed and primer on, so it arrives ready for your brush. Straight prints leave the workshop in 5 to 7 working days. Not sure whether your file will print, or working from a picture rather than a model? Write to us first and we will tell you where you stand. We print everything ourselves in the EU. The same minis we send to players every day.
What we need from you
An STL file. That is the one thing we cannot work without. Send it over and we check it prints cleanly, flag anything that needs fixing, and get it on the plate.
Or a mini from our catalogue. Tell us which one and what you want different. We will tell you what is possible before you commit to anything.
Only got a picture? Send it anyway and ask. We will tell you honestly whether it is something we can print, and what you would need to get there. No file, no charge, no pressure.
What you get
Not a raw print. Supports removed, surfaces smoothed, primed and ready to paint.
Resin, printed on SLA/DLP at up to 40 microns, in 28mm or 32mm. Thirty-two is our default, because that is what most DnD grids expect. Larger pieces get FDM where it makes more sense than resin. Tough enough to survive a backpack and a clumsy party member.
Straight prints leave the workshop in 5 to 7 working days. A bigger batch or a fiddly model takes longer, and we tell you how much longer before you pay anything.
Why not just use a configurator?
Configurators sell you an afternoon of designing. We sell you the miniature. Building a character in a browser is fun, and then somebody still has to print it, clean it and ship it. That somebody is us, and it is what we have been doing for 300,000+ orders and 12,000+ reviews.
How to order
Tell us what you need and attach what you have. The STL, a reference photo, a link, a rough sketch on a napkin. Every job is quoted individually, because a single hero and a forty-piece warband are not the same work. You get the price and the timeline before anything is charged.

Average human from Galaad Miniatures is 35mm tall in 28mm scale, the same human in 32mm scale will be 39mm tall (12.5% taller), and in 38mm scale this human will be 46mm tall (18.7% taller).

The miniature is packaged with its components separate, not glued together. This option allows for customization before assembly.
We carefully glue the all of the components together for you, so you can enjoy the final effect!
Comes Assembled!
We apply a primer coat in various colors. This is an ideal choice if you intend to paint the miniatures yourself, as the basic plastic doesn't retain paint well without this preparation. Comes in black, red, and grey.

After gluing and applying a black primer to the miniature, we perform a light drybrush technique to enhance shadows and details. This gives the miniature a more defined appearance.

What scale should I pick if I want my miniature to fit a DnD grid perfectly?
In most cases, the right choice is 32mm scale. However, if you’d like to know the exact size of a specific miniature, simply reach out to us — we’ll gladly provide precise details. At times this may mean adjusting the original size to perfectly match your game, but that is no problem for the Guild. Your satisfaction is always our highest priority.
There is no scale option I want, what are my options?
Feel free to message us about it! We will estimate if we can meet your needs. We've been printing miniatures in a variety of scale on demand!
There's been an issue with my order, can you help?
Absolutely! Whether your order was delayed in shipment, a miniature arrived damaged, or a piece is missing - feel encouraged to contact us. We offer hassle-free refunds within 30 days, no questions asked. In most cases, it simply means sending you the missing part or replacing anything you’re not fully satisfied with.
Can I request custom miniatures or other prints on demand?
Yes! We just need a STL file to work with, which you can buy from any online artist you like. For this case and any other, please message us first and we will take it from there.
How long does production & preparation usually take?
We take our craft very seriously! Each miniature also goes through a hand-detailing process. It usually takes between 5 to 7 business days with the default, drybrush or primer option. Shipping time depends on your geolocation. You can get the estimated time on the top of each product page. Our full process is explained here.
