Add a Siege Weapon Worthy of Legends
The walls of Skyreach did not fall to swords or spells—but to steel, wood, and stone, flung from a 5e Catapult built for one purpose: to shift the balance of power. In any campaign world where kingdoms rise and fall, a DnD Catapult isn’t just a machine—it’s a decision. As a Dungeon Master, it’s your way of saying: “This battle matters.”
The Catapult 5e miniature brings real presence to your tabletop. Its weight, size, and detail provide immediate impact. When your players walk into a siege camp or climb a battlement and see the miniature waiting there, it becomes more than background—it becomes part of the story.
Use it in planned fortress encounters, battlefield events, or discovery scenarios. The DnD 5e Catapult can represent anything from lost technology to last defense.
A war machine on the map = tactical pressure + immersive tension
Let players feel it before they fight it.
Not All Catapults Are Created Equal
What kind of catapult is it? Arcane-powered? Goblin-engineered? Salvaged dwarven relic? The miniature doesn’t tell you what it is—it asks you to decide. The 5e Catapult arrives in one of three scales (28mm, 32mm, or 38mm), with optional primer treatments or raw resin finish. Choose black for shadow-slick iron, grey for stone realism, or red drybrush for battlefield rust.
With 12K resolution, this isn’t just a vague outline of wood and wheels. It’s detailed down to the bolts and rope tension. Even unpainted, the DnD 5e Catapult brings enough texture to set a tone. Whether it’s hidden in the undergrowth or parked outside a royal stronghold, this miniature speaks loudly without any DM narration.
- Hand-detailed for maximum precision
- Fully playable with resin built for tabletop durability
- Perfectly sized for battlefield layout planning
You decide whether it’s a relic, a threat, or a tool. The Catapult 5e miniature supports all three.
A Construct of War with Player Impact
Nothing slows a party down like seeing a DnD Catapult on the field—especially when it isn’t theirs. The presence of a siege engine transforms player choices. Do they sneak in and disable it? Capture it? Or defend it at all costs?
The DnD 5e Catapult introduces more than just area damage. It adds a countdown. Three rounds until impact. Two until reload. One until your players realize their decisions matter. Suddenly, it’s not just about the monster stats—it’s about whether they reach the machine in time.
A visible catapult = automatic stakes for both sides
Place it near civilians, supply lines, or a fragile wall—and watch the party react.
And when the players do take control? Assigning roles becomes fun:
- One player loads
- One aims
- One fires
- The others guard or spot targets
The Catapult 5e miniature makes this real. A token on the table with scale and structure invites better coordination and better storytelling.
Build It How You Want, Use It How You Need
Some adventurers love to paint. Others just want to play. That’s why this 5e Catapult comes exactly how you want it: fully assembled, or unassembled for custom builds. Primer options let you jump straight into painting or save the detailing for later. No need for special tools—just creativity and a bit of patience.
Fantasy world differences? Covered. This isn’t tied to a faction, so the Catapult 5e miniature fits into:
- Orc siege camps
- Human citadels
- Elven ruins
- Planar forges
- Arcane labs gone rogue
Want it enchanted? Add a glowing effect with drybrush or color wash. Want it battered from centuries of use? Highlight splinters and cracks with layered weathering.
Miniature variety = better campaign flexibility
This isn’t a one-scene item. It’s a miniature built for reuse across arcs.
When the Battlefield Gets Bigger
You know the moment: players crest a ridge and see what’s coming. Behind the army—those massive siege machines. The DnD 5e Catapult adds scale to your world. It makes it clear that this is more than a skirmish—it’s a war.
Most DMs wait until mid-tier campaigns to introduce siege weapons. That’s when players start commanding forces, defending keeps, or leading assaults. With the DnD Catapult in play, your map becomes dynamic. Your terrain has a function. Your players start thinking like tacticians, not just adventurers.
Tactical siege = more collaboration + new encounter goals
Force players to protect supply lines, disrupt enemy artillery, or choose between damage and control.
This miniature earns its spot on the table by asking questions. Do you let it fire again, or try to disable it? Can you turn it against its former owners? Do you sabotage it or save it?
When a siege machine has presence, players stop treating it like an item and start treating it like a character.
For DMs and Adventurers Who Want More from the Table
The best campaigns live not just in words, but in memory. Seeing a painted Catapult 5e miniature on the field creates a visual anchor for that memory. It’s not just a war machine—it’s the moment the wall cracked, the boss escaped, or the party’s plan came together.
For DMs, it’s a tool. For players, it’s a threat, a reward, or a puzzle. For both, it’s immersion made physical.
Whether you’re planning a full siege arc or adding flavor to a bandit camp, the DnD Catapult holds attention. It gives you something more than hit points and stat blocks—it gives you a centerpiece.
Scale
SCALE ≠ EXACT SIZE
Miniature size may vary from sculptor to sculptor.
How it works:
Average human from Galaad Miniatures is 35mm tall in 28mm scale, the same human in 32mm scale will be 39mm tall (12.5% taller), and in 38mm scale this human will be 46mm tall (18.7% taller).
Need more details?
The miniature is packaged with its components separate, not glued together. This option allows for customization before assembly.
We carefully glue the all of the components together for you, so you can enjoy the final effect!
Comes Assembled!
We apply a primer coat in various colors. This is an ideal choice if you intend to paint the miniatures yourself, as the basic plastic doesn't retain paint well without this preparation. Comes in black, red, and grey.
Comes Assembled!
After gluing and applying a black primer to the miniature, we perform a light drybrush technique to enhance shadows and details. This gives the miniature a more defined appearance.

Can I request custom miniatures or other prints on demand?
Yes! We just need a STL file to work with, which you can buy from any online artist you like. For this case and any other, please message us first and we will take it from there.
